Laboratory consumption of liquid thermal insulation “Bronya” is 1 liter per 1 sq.m of heat-insulated surface with a layer thickness of 1 mm. When applying liquid thermal insulation to a surface with an area of ​​more than 100 sq.m, it is recommended to allow for an overconsumption of 10% if the application is planned to be done with a brush or spatula. From 10% to 30% (Depending on the professionalism of the painter and weather conditions), material consumption may increase when applied with an airless sprayer.

Before applying the thermal insulation material “Bronya Zima” / “Bronya Zima NG” , it must be brought to working viscosity with the solvent “Orthoxylolol” .

Work on applying the heat-insulating coating “Bronya Zima” / “Bronya Zima NG” is allowed to be carried out at temperatures of the heat-insulated surface and ambient air from -35 to +30°C. After the material has completely dried and polymerized, the resulting thermal insulation coating can be used at temperatures from –60°C to +90°C.

Based on the Bronya Zima / Bronya Zima NG , produced using only imported raw materials, the budget modification Bronya Nord - the result of the successful use of import-substituting technologies in production. The budget modification is similar in its thermal properties to the “Bronya Zima” / “Bronya Zima NG” , but has a maximum peak operating temperature limitation of +70°C .

Material quality

Bronya thermal insulation prepared for use has the appearance of a viscous, relatively thick substance. The main part of the substance (about 80%) is formed by air-containing ceramic microgranules. Together with binding acrylic polymers, the granules create a viscous mass that can be diluted with ordinary water, thereby creating a moisture-impermeable, lightweight and durable film.

As for the heat transfer coefficient, here this figure is no more than 0.018 W/m2. Currently, this is a record characteristic for liquid thermal insulation materials.

Insulation Armor practically does not absorb moisture. The indicator of its absorption with the full content of the insulator in water throughout the day is equal to a scanty 0.02 g/cm3. This quality shows how effective a waterproofing agent this substance is.

The material does not burn, and due to its complex chemical structure it is not damaged by insects and other small pests.

Liquid thermal insulation has excellent adhesion. The material effectively covers any surface: brick, concrete, wood, metal, plastic and even glass. A completely hardened thermal insulator is converted into the thinnest film, which, despite the minuscule width of the layer, reliably protects objects from loss of thermal energy.

Another important point is the ease of application of the insulating base. You can cope with the task using a regular brush, roller, spatula or spray.

As for the consumption of liquid heat insulator, in laboratory conditions this figure is equal to one liter per 1 m2 when the substance is applied in a layer of 1 mm. Depending on the presence of certain conditions, the thickness of the insulating coating may vary.

  8. The mass fraction of volatile substances is about 40%.
  9. The time required for the liquid thermal insulation layer to completely harden at room temperature is no more than 24 hours.

It is important to note! - we do not know, as of today, about similar non-flammable (NG) thermal insulation coatings and having a thermal conductivity of 0.001 identical to our basic modifications - complete competing analogues of these modifications from other manufacturers of residential goods. But on the market there are:

Liquid insulation Bronya is highly effective in insulating various structures. It is used for processing roofs, floor coverings, facades, internal partitions and load-bearing walls, window slopes, steam pipelines, ventilation, hot and cold supply pipelines, cooling systems, all kinds of plastic, metal, glass containers.

It is recommended to use this heat insulator in temperature ranges from -60 °C to 260 °C. If installation and operation rules are followed, its service life is more than two decades.

Laying technology

The dimensions of most coatings and the non-standard, complex architectural component of modern buildings increasingly make it impossible to effectively use traditional thermal insulation materials both inside and outside. For example, not everyone can thoroughly insulate a curtain wall using mineral wool, especially if the home is located above the second floor.

Surface preparation

To create a durable, and most importantly, reliable insulating coating, the liquid substance must be applied only after special procedures for preparing the coatings have been completed.

For these purposes, it is recommended to use solvents that have a degreasing effect on surfaces. Finally, it is enough to carefully treat the surfaces with a stiff wire brush.

Application of insulation

The ideal tools for high-quality, effective application of liquid thermal insulation are airless sprayers and soft brushes. During the application of the preliminary layer, no more than 1 mm of the substance is laid. The use of a step-by-step economical approach promotes optimal consumption of thermal insulation, eliminating the formation of layers.

Work can be carried out at surface temperatures ranging from -35 to 150 °C. The temperature regime in each specific case depends on the type and properties of the surfaces being treated, as well as the brand of insulating substance.

Immediately before applying the finished mixture, you should once again mix the insulating base in the container. If it is necessary to achieve a thinner consistency, a small amount of distilled water can be added.

Finishing

After the layer-by-layer application of the liquid insulator is completed and the substance has completely hardened, you can begin the final processing of the surfaces.

Once dry, Bronya thermal insulation resembles a coating in the form of acrylic paint. Therefore, not wanting to spend additional time on covering surfaces, the walls can be left in their current form.

If you have enough strength and opportunity for decoration, then a variety of finishing materials can be used to cover the frozen liquid insulation. As practice shows, a layer of plaster, ceramic tiles, and wallpaper are perfectly applied to such thermal insulation.
