The most important quality of K-FLEX thermal insulation is, of course, its low thermal conductivity, which is ensured by the cellular structure of the products, the small size of the cells themselves, and the optimal volume-to-weight ratio.

K-FLEX thermal insulation has the property of not accumulating moisture during its service life; it has high diffusion resistance to the effects of steam or direct exposure to liquids.

Moreover, its vapor permeability coefficient is of the order of magnitude equal to that of polyethylene film, which is usually used as a vapor barrier when installing thermal insulation.

Among the positive characteristics that k flex thermal insulation has, it should be noted its ability to exclude the penetration of moisture and prevent the occurrence of oxidation processes on the surface of pipelines.

The presence of a fire retardant complex in K-FLEX gives the insulating material the ability to prevent the spread of flame; the material itself also does not support combustion. K-FLEX ST (K-FLEX ST) is a flexible and elastic thermal insulation material made of foam rubber with a closed porous structure. Thermal insulation K-FLEX ST is made from synthetic butadiene-acrinitrile rubber followed by foaming. Thermal insulation K-FLEX ST is produced in black color, in the form of flexible tubes 2 m long and sheets in rolls 1 m wide. K-FLEX ST tubes are available in diameters from 6 mm to 160 mm and thicknesses: 6, 9, 13, 19, 25 , 32 mm, and K-FLEX ST sheets are available in thicknesses of 6, 10, 13, 16, 19, 25, 32, 40, 50 mm.

K-FLEX ST thermal insulation is used in cold and hot water supply systems, heating systems, cryogenic systems and refrigeration plants, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as low-pressure steam pipelines and petrochemical industry enterprises. Thermal insulation K-FLEX ST is used to insulate pipes to prevent heat loss, condensation, corrosion of pipes, as well as their sound insulation.

K-FLEX ST thermal insulation does not require special maintenance, and during its installation there is no need for protective equipment and protective clothing, since this material does not crumble and does not emit dust.
