How to buy a gas boiler and not make a mistake?
A buyer, choosing, for example, a wall-mounted gas boiler Neva Lux 8224 reviews for which may be false and written to order, must understand that they cannot be relied on. After all, it often happens that the design is ideal, the equipment is the most modern, but poor-quality assembly worsens all the advantages. For example, in 2014, reviews characterized the wall-mounted gas boiler Neva Lux 8224 as a naturally raw product, which is called “finish it with a file.”
This review appeared due to poor quality assembly, as well as due to unstable operation of the boiler due to a defect in the coaxial chimney, which was not specified in the instructions. Of course, the Neva company has now taken certain measures and eliminated shortcomings in the assembly of the product. There are practically no complaints about the Lux 8618 model and you can buy a single-circuit wall-mounted gas boiler Neva Lux, with delivery to any region, in specialized stores.
Prices for mounted gas boilers depend on their power, type, configuration and demand for the device. For example, the Neva Lux gas double-circuit wall-mounted boiler offered by many online stores, the price of which with a power of 24 kW, but with different configurations, ranges from 31,800 to 35,600 rubles.
The most expensive boiler, Nevalux 8224, is equipped with a built-in storage boiler. When choosing a boiler for heating, if you are satisfied with the gas boiler Neva Lux 8224 price, it is best to get reviews from real owners or gas equipment specialists.

damage and deform the electrical wiring elements of the boiler, even if the power supply is turned off; expose the boiler to atmospheric precipitation. To avoid carbon monoxide poisoning, the room in which the boiler is installed must have
ventilation providing air exchange of at least one volume of the room per hour.
If the boiler is idle for a long time in winter or if there is a risk of freezing
pipelines, it is necessary to drain the coolant from the boiler and from the heating system.
Do not store flammable or volatile substances (gasoline, solvents, etc.) indoors, in
where the boiler is installed.
When the boiler is operating normally and the gas pipeline is working properly, there should be no odor in the room.
IF YOU SMELL GAS:
1) close the gas supply valve located on the gas pipeline in front of the boiler; 2) open windows and doors to ventilate the room, ensuring maximum flow of fresh air; 3) do not use electrical appliances to avoid sparks; 4) do not use the telephone in a gas-filled room; 5) do not smoke or use open flames (lighters, matches, etc.); 6) immediately call the emergency gas service by phone. 04.

Wall-mounted gas boiler Neva Lux 8224. Review.

When building a new house, one of the mandatory stages is the installation of a heating system and installation of a boiler. And in those houses where renovations are being carried out, new owners also often replace old batteries and replace the boiler with a more modern one. But which boiler to choose is a different story. Today, many people prefer automatic boilers, which can be mounted on the floor or on the wall. One of the brightest representatives of wall-mounted gas boilers is Neva Lux 8224 , with two circuits (hot water supply and heating) and a closed combustion chamber.
One independent circuit is the heating system. The boiler power (24 kW) is quite enough to heat a living space of up to two hundred square meters. The burner-heat exchanger complex itself is arranged in such a way that almost optimal heat exchange occurs when heating water. So the figures stated in the passport opposite the “Efficiency” column - 90% - are very close to reality. There is a built-in water pump inside the boiler, which ensures forced circulation of water in the heating system. Although modern radiators have drain valves to remove air pockets from pipes and radiators, the heating system is not at risk of airing. The existing 4-liter expansion tank will ensure the removal of excess air from the system, since ultimately all the water passes through it.
By the way, a built-in expansion tank with an air valve is one of the best technical solutions when designing a heating system in a house. Now gone are the days when the expansion tank for old gas boilers was placed on the supply pipe and was often taken to another room (or even to an unheated attic). Checking the water level in the tank, protecting it from freezing - all these concerns are “things of a bygone day...”.
The water pressure in the system can be controlled by the pressure gauge on the front panel of the boiler. As the temperature increases, the water pressure in a closed heating system increases. And with the onset of spring, when the heating temperature is lowered, the pressure may drop. If the pressure is too low, the heating system can be additionally topped up with water.
Hot water supply has its own separate circuit, which is in no way dependent on heating. Both circuits are heated by one heat exchanger. The entire water part of the boiler (internal pipes, heat exchanger, water pump, pressure and flow sensors) is quite sensitive to water quality. Therefore, when installing a boiler and installing a heating system, it is imperative to take care of installing coarse and fine filters on the supply pipelines in order to prevent particles of scale or rust (or other debris) from entering the internal parts of the boiler. Repairs (pump repair, sensor replacement) can cost a pretty penny.
Yes, and water purified from mechanical impurities may contain an increased content of dissolved salts and/or metals. So over time, the pipes, pump impeller and (especially) the heat exchanger can become clogged with salt deposits - scale. To prevent this from happening (if you know that the quality of the water leaves much to be desired), it would not be superfluous to install additional filters of the so-called chemical preparation.
Another distinctive feature of the Neva Lux 8224 is the closed combustion chamber. Air intake for gas combustion occurs through an external pipe directly from the street. A chimney is located inside the duct using the “pipe-in-pipe” principle. Both systems, the air duct and the chimney, have their own fan for forced circulation. Now you don’t have to worry that at low pressure or strong gusts of wind the flame in the boiler will blow out, this won’t happen. Even if there is a storm warning “overboard”, the flue gases are forcibly removed from the burner by a powerful fan. In return, combustion air flows through the duct.
The only condition for this type of coaxial chimney is to observe a slight slope of the chimney to the horizontal plane during installation. This is done so that the condensate that occurs in the chimney at subzero temperatures does not enter the boiler, but flows out through the pipe.
And now a few words about the control of the Neva Lux boiler and its capabilities. Even a third grader can control the boiler with some skill. There are two temperature regulators on the front panel (one for hot water supply, and the second for heating). If you set the regulator to “zero”, this circuit is considered off. So you can adjust the temperature easily and naturally.
There are two buttons next to the display. One is for selecting boiler operating modes (several automatically set operating modes), and the second is for resetting the boiler operating parameters and rebooting the control unit. This is for an emergency. You can also use the remote control to control the boiler, and set operating parameters and adjust the temperature without leaving the couch.
The operation of the Neva Lux boiler is based on the “turn it on and forget it” principle. That is, having set the temperature or operating mode of the boiler once, you don’t have to worry about its further operation. Even if the electricity suddenly goes out, then when it is turned on again, the boiler will again return to the same operating parameters as before it was turned off. For scrupulous homeowners, several “economical” modes are provided. If, for example, you leave home for a long time (on a business trip, to study, etc.), then Neva can be set to the minimum temperature mode and set the date and time on the timer to turn on the heating mode. The entire time you are away, the boiler will maintain the minimum temperature in the house (saving gas), and a few hours before your arrival it will turn on the burners at full power and warm up the house.
And if a situation arises when, for unknown reasons, the gas supply stops (some kind of accident on a gas pipeline in winter), then the boiler can be transferred to the “anti-freeze” mode. In this case, Neva will force water through the heating system when the burner is turned off, so that the coolant (that is, water) does not freeze in the pipes for quite a long time.
There is also the possibility of connecting a remote room temperature sensor to the boiler. The idea is that the boiler would turn on for operation not when the water temperature in the heating system drops, but when the air temperature in the rooms drops below a predetermined threshold. To do this, we place the sensor in the farthest room and establish communication with the boiler. And while the temperature in the room remains above the set point (say 25 degrees), the boiler is silent. As soon as the room gets cold, a command is given to turn on the burner. It is possible to install several temperature sensors in different rooms.
Additional options may include connecting an external “street” temperature sensor. Which controls the operation of the boiler depending on the outside air temperature. But this method is not very reliable. The fact is that the sensor may be blown by cold winds or there will be increased air humidity, and then even at above-zero temperatures there will be a command to turn on the boiler.
Brief summary (a kind of review about the wall-mounted boiler). In general, we have a very modern, easy-to-use device that combines, in fact, a boiler and a water heater “in one bottle.” Neva Lux 8224 is reliable in operation. Even if any problem occurs, there will be no problems with repair and maintenance. There are always components in stock. The weak point of the boiler, in general, like all computer-controlled “wall-mounted” systems, is its vital dependence on electricity. All modern gas boilers suffer from this, even floor-standing Vailant ones. There is no electricity - the boiler is silent. So if in your area there is a risk of unexpected and long-term power outages, then, firstly, it is worth equipping the boiler with a voltage stabilization system (so as not to inadvertently destroy the most expensive part of the boiler - the control board). And secondly, if possible, then acquire a diesel (or gasoline) power plant, so that in case of an emergency shutdown there is no possibility of leaving the boiler without power.
