Two types of chimneys are compatible with Beretta gas boilers - conventional atmospheric (fireplace type) and coaxial.

Beretta CIAO (Chao)

These units have the lowest price among all Berettas and are installed only in closed-type heating systems. They use a coaxial bithermal heat exchanger.

In bithermic heat exchangers, water for heating and hot water supply is heated alternately in one coil. As long as the hot water tap is closed, the heating operates. If hot water starts flowing, the heating circuit is switched off and the water is heated for domestic use. The scheme, as we see, is not ideal, which is why such models are not very popular.

Hot water is heated using the flow method. There are CIAO NORD models adapted for regions with low winter temperatures (below -25oC). In them, the incoming air for the burner is preheated, which contributes to stable operation of the equipment.

The power of Beretta CIAO (Chao) boilers is 24 kW and 28 kW (there is a slight difference in modifications with an open and closed combustion chamber).

"Beretta City" is a double-circuit heating boiler with instantaneous heating of hot water. Very similar to the previous model, but they have two separate heat exchangers - one for heating, the second for heating water. It is also available with an open and closed combustion chamber and has two powers: 24 kW, 28 kW.

The Beretta Minute boiler has separate heat exchangers for hot water (flow-through type of heating) and the heating circuit. A reliable three-speed circulation pump from GRUNDFOS is installed in the boiler, which automatically removes air trapped in the system.

A DHW and heating temperature controller has been added; the results of self-diagnosis are displayed on the liquid crystal display. Fittings included as standard.

Beretta Boiler

The Beretta Boiler gas boiler has a built-in stainless steel hot water tank with a capacity of 60 liters. The boiler also has two expansion tanks: one for 8 liters in the heating circuit, the second for 2 liters in the DHW circuit. The boiler hydraulics unit is supplemented with a DHW control group: an 8 bar burst valve and a tap for emptying the boiler.

There are additional automation functions: automatic temperature control in the heating system (paired with a room temperature thermostat), the water temperature in the tank is fixed: 43oC, the temperature control function is disabled (to unlock this option, you must contact the service center). Kinds

Beretta produces all types of modern gas boilers, which can be divided into groups according to appropriate characteristics.

According to the installation method, we offer:

• Floor-standing boilers. They are installed directly on the floor or on a special platform, have greater weight and increased dimensions due to more durable and massive parts designed for high power and performance.
• Wall-mounted models designed for hanging installation on load-bearing walls or on special supporting structures (ramps). They have compact dimensions, the power of the units is limited to 35 kW.

By functionality:

• Single-circuit, designed only to power the heating system.
• Double-circuit, capable of simultaneously heating the coolant and preparing hot water for household needs.

By heat transfer method:

• Convection. Heating of liquids occurs according to the usual method - in the flame of a gas burner.
• Condensation. These units have a two-stage heating cycle - first, primary heating occurs due to thermal energy obtained from the condensation of water vapor from the exhaust smoke, and then a second stage of heating occurs in the burner flame.

IMPORTANT!

It must be taken into account that the operation of condensing boilers is possible only when the difference in temperature outside and inside the premises is no more than 20°, which excludes the possibility of use in most regions of Russia. You need to know this when choosing a boiler, since the difference in prices between condensing and convection boilers is quite significant.

By type of combustion chamber:

• Open (atmospheric). Smoke removal occurs naturally, using a chimney draft (stove type). The air required for combustion is taken directly from the room in which the boiler is installed.
• Closed (turbocharged). The air intake occurs from the outside, the burner is completely isolated from the internal atmosphere of the living space. The smoke is removed by the turbocharger fan.

Turbocharged models are more stable and reliable in operation, practically independent of external conditions, which cannot be said for boilers with an open combustion chamber.

1. Beretta City.

2. Ciao and Novella Maxima.

Wall-mounted CIAOs are available with only two circuits and with a closed or open combustion chamber. Moreover, there is one modified model - Beretta CIAO 24 CSI, created for regions with low temperatures. Most often, Beretta Chao is used in apartment buildings. They are produced with a power of 16, 24 and 28 kW.

Novella is a floor-standing gas boiler made of cast iron, produced with only one circuit and an open combustion chamber. Moreover, the burner is made of stainless steel and has 2 stages. Power varies from 90 to 279 kW. Beretta Novella Maxima 108 N RAI is especially popular due to its long service life and ability to heat large rooms. All models can operate on mains or liquefied gas. Heaters from 174 kW are equipped with two cast iron heat exchangers.

3. Beretta Boiler, Mynute Boiler and Exclusive.

Only one version of the Boiler is produced - with two circuits and a closed combustion chamber, with a volume of 60 l and a power of 28 kW. Smooth adjustment is also possible, there is electric ignition, a three-speed pump, frost protection and locking functions in case of an accident. Completely ready for use. The Mynute Boiler is available in capacities from 45 to 60 liters, 24 and 28 kW. Made from stainless steel and with only two circuits, closed or open combustion chamber. Has all the same functions as previous models.

Exclusive is produced with two and one circuits, closed or open combustion chamber and only for installation on walls. With an open burner, gas boilers are produced with a power of 28 and 24 kW, with a closed burner - 26, 30, 35 kW.

Double-circuit model with separate heat exchangers. A circulation pump of the famous Grundfos brand with 3 speeds and an automatic air vent was used. Unlike the first two models, this one has a display.

Beretta Boiler

Has a built-in stainless steel boiler with a capacity of 60 liters.

An additional 2 liter expansion tank is installed for it (the heating tank has a volume of 8 liters).

This is a floor-standing gas boiler with automatic control. Boiler power from 24 kW to 71 kW. Boiler power: 24 kW, 31 kW.

Floor-standing version of Beretta Fabula

The Beretta Fabula double-circuit gas floor-standing boiler can be used in closed-type systems with forced circulation of coolant with an open or closed combustion chamber.

The coolant is heated using a sectional cast-iron heat exchanger. Water for domestic hot water is heated in an indirectly heated steel boiler with a capacity of 80 or 120 liters, depending on the model. For long-term use of the container under water, it is covered with enamel inside, and a protective magnesium anode is installed. For more convenient maintenance there is a connector for cleaning the boiler. Each circuit (DHW and heating) has its own expansion tank.

Beretta Novella Maxima

The units in this line have very solid performance: from 87.4 kW to 289.9 kW. All are equipped with cast iron heat exchangers; in high-power installations (from 174 and above) there are two heat exchangers. They are united by a common lining and have a common exit to the chimney.
